U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was grilled by the House Oversight Committee for more than four hours Wednesday in a closed-door hearing about his ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Justice Department email records showed the two were in contact years after Lutnick claimed to have severed ties in 2005. Democrats accused Lutnick of being evasive and changing his story.
