Has worked as a literary agent for almost 40 years and represents Barbara Kingsolver, Adrienne Rich, Mumia Abu-Jamal, among many other authors. She has been a housing activist for over 60 years. She is co-editor of the collection, Imagine: Living in a Socialist USA.
