Co-authored an article in The New England Journal of Medicine called “Guantanamo Bay: A Medical Ethics-free Zone?” He is a professor of health law, bioethics and human rights at the Boston University School of Public Health. He is also a professor in the Boston University School of Medicine and the School of Law. He is the co-founder of Global Lawyers and Physicians and the author or editor of 16 books on health law and bioethics.
