Iraq war resister. Private in US Army and deployed to Iraq in 2003. Left after six-and-a-half months and filed for conscientious objector status in Canada. He is also the author of a book called The Deserter’s Tale: The Story of an Ordinary Soldier Who Walked Away from the War in Iraq.
