Un importante grupo ingles sin fines de lucro (Christian Aid) ha acusado a administradores americanos e ingleses en Irak de fallar justificar el uso de $4 mil millones en ingresos del petróleo Iraquí. Christian Aid ha producido un informe, Irak: Los Mil millones Perdidos (Iraq: The Missing Billions), para coincidir con una conferencia internacional lidiada por EEUU en Madrid con el propósito de asegurar dinero para reedificar Irak. El informe revela que billones del dinero del petróleo Iraquí transferido a la Coalición controlada por EEUU ha desaparecido. Christian Aid ha sido sólo capaz de justificar $1 billón del total $5 billones de ingresos provenientes de ventas del petróleo Iraquí.
