ACORN Sues Makers of Hidden Video

HeadlineSep 24, 2009

The anti-poverty group ACORN has filed a lawsuit against the makers of a hidden-camera video that secretly filmed the group’s workers appearing to offer advice to a pimp and prostitute. The video led to a congressional vote removing ACORN’s federal funding. ACORN says the videos were illegal, because they lacked two-party consent.
