Meanwhile, House Republicans say they’re nearing a new proposal for a healthcare deal to replace the Affordable Care Act. The deal has been brokered between the chairs of the far-right House Freedom Caucus and the so-called moderate Tuesday Group. Infighting between the two groups doomed the last Republican healthcare plan, which was heavily backed by President Trump.
