South Korea Reports 40 New Coronavirus Infections, Highest Level in 7 Weeks

In South Korea, officials reported 40 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, the largest jump in nearly two months. After a recent outbreak tied to nightclubs in Seoul, South Korea tested over 80,000 people — finding 247 cases linked to just one individual. About 30% of those testing positive had no symptoms.
