In Ukraine, Russian officials have asked residents of Kherson to evacuate as Ukraine’s military advances on the Russian-occupied city seeking to recapture it. Kherson is part of territory that Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed to have annexed, in a move condemned this week by the U.N. General Assembly.
