Republican efforts to impeach President Biden could soon peter out, after a second hearing failed to deliver any evidence pointing to President Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings. With Republican support for the impeachment eroding, Congressmember James Comer, who is leading the impeachment inquiry, said he is weighing possible criminal referrals to the Justice Department instead of a lawmaker vote.
