It comes weeks after an internal Trump administration memo classified drug cartels as “non-state armed groups” whose actions “constitute an armed attack against the United States.” NBC News is reporting that congressional lawmakers from both parties are growing frustrated about the lack of information about the strikes. One source told NBC, “The Republicans were mad that the briefers were unable to answer questions about the legal basis for the operations.”
