The aircraft will eventually be transferred to Trump’s presidential library, where he can continue using it after leaving office. Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked a bill authored by Democratic leader Chuck Schumer that would have barred the Pentagon from spending any taxpayer money on the jet.
