In Pennsylvania, a sixth person has died of measles as the number of cases in the state topped 1,100. The victim was identified as a 39-year-old unvaccinated woman who had several underlying conditions. The CDC has recorded over 4,000 confirmed measles infections across the U.S., the highest number of cases in decades. Earlier this month, New York Governor Kathy Hochul declared an emergency because of rising measles cases in the state.
