Democracy Now! in Charleston

On June 26, 2015, Democracy Now! broadcast from Charleston, South Carolina, in front of the Emanuel AME Church, Mother Emanuel, as funeral services began for nine people who were gunned down on June 17 as they attended Bible study. We were also there when Bree Newsome was arrested at the state Capitol after scaling the 30-foot flagpole and unhooking the Confederate flag.
