Guantánamo Naval Commander Fired After Suspicious Death of His Wife’s Alleged Lover

The commanding officer in charge of the U.S. naval base at Guantánamo Bay has been fired due to a “loss of confidence in his ability to command.” Unnamed officials told the AP Captain John R. Nettleton is under investigation in connection with the mysterious death of a man whose wife Nettleton was having an affair with.
