Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned Turkey’s downing of a Russian warplane near the Syrian border, saying it was “like a stab in the back delivered by the accomplices of terrorists.” Turkey said it shot down the plane after warning the Russian pilots they were in Turkish airspace.
