In Des Moines, Iowa, six Democratic candidates took to the stage on Tuesday night in the final debate before the Iowa caucuses. For the first time this election cycle, every candidate on the stage was white: former Vice President Joe Biden; Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar; former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; and billionaire investor Tom Steyer.
