Chicago Teachers Union Rejects Return to In-Person Classes, Citing Coronavirus Risks

In more labor news, the Chicago Teachers Union rejected district directives to return to in-person schooling today, due to the dangers posed by the pandemic. The nation’s third-largest district has delayed the start of school for staff and students from kindergarten through eighth grades until Wednesday to continue negotiations with the union.
