IRS Acting Administrator Quits over Agreement to Share Immigrants’ Tax Data with ICE

The acting head of the Internal Revenue Service is resigning after the agency agreed to share personal tax data on undocumented immigrants with federal agents. Melanie Krause is at least the third top official to leave the IRS since Trump took office.
