Netanyahu’s Government Votes Unanimously to Remove Attorney General Prosecuting Corruption

In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government voted unanimously to remove the attorney general, who is prosecuting Netanyahu for corruption. But soon after the vote, the High Court of Israel issued a temporary injunction. Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara has repeatedly clashed with Netanyahu’s coalition about overhauling the judiciary. Netanyahu is facing charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust in three separate cases.
