A prominent Palestinian activist and professor. He has lived in the United States for the last 40 years, but was just deported to Turkey. He was previously accused of ties to the group Palestinian Islamic Jihad, but a Florida jury failed to return a single guilty verdict on any of the 17 charges against him.
