Sarah Collins Rudolph

Survived the bombing of the Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 15, 1963, which killed four young girls. She was 12 years old. She was hit with shards of glass, lost an eye and was hospitalized for months. Her older sister Addie Mae Collins, 14, died in the blast.
