Amy Goodman and Jeremy Scahill in Chicago

Chicago, IL

May 17, 2016 | Tuesday | 6:30 pm

Chicago Temple Building

77 W Washington St,
Chicago, Illinois 60602 ( see map )
Haymarket Books presents Amy Goodman and Jeremy Scahill, who will speak at the Chicago Temple Building. As investigative journalists, they have collaborated for many years, working to shine a light into the darkness and going where the silence is to cover stories the corporate media refuses to touch.

To mark the release of their new books Democracy Now!: Twenty Years Covering the Movements Changing America and The Assassination Complex, Amy and Jeremy will discuss the essential role of independent investigative journalism in providing coverage, analysis and debate in our new era of social justice movements, economic crisis and an unending global war.

They as well as Democracy Now! colleague and co-author Denis Moynihan will also be available for book signing at the end of the program.
