Kidnapped Italian Journalist Freed in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, the Italian photojournalist Gabriele Torsello has been released three weeks after he was kidnapped.

  • Gabriele Torsello: “I’m very glad that I’m here and I’m very thankful to everybody, to the Italian government, to the government of Afghanistan, and to everybody, every single individual who has thought about me and has collaborated in an active and also in a moral way in my release. It’s been quite intense–about 22 days.”
