World Social Forum Convenes in Brazil

Thousands of people have gathered in Porto Alegre, Brazil this week for the tenth annual World Social Forum. The event brings together social movements from around the world under the theme of “Another world is possible.” It’s timed to coincide with the gathering of corporate and world leaders in the Swiss town of Davos for the World Economic Forum, which opens today.
