Others have been held and tortured in a recently revealed secret jail in Manila, where prisoners say police have demanded bribes in exchange for their freedom. Human Rights Watch slammed Trump’s invitation, saying, “By effectively endorsing Duterte’s murderous ‘war on drugs,’ Trump has made himself morally complicit in future killings.”
