The move came after Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones complained of racist taunts, including the N-word, coming from the stands during a game Monday evening. In a statement, Red Sox President Sam Kennedy said, “I’m here to send a message loud and clear that the treatment of others that you’ve been reading about here lately is unacceptable.”
