China Imposes Retaliatory Tariffs on U.S. Food Imports

China has imposed tariffs of up to 25 percent on $3 billion worth of U.S. food imports, in retaliation for President Trump’s plans to levy tariffs on Chinese products. Trump announced the U.S. tariffs last month, after tweeting, “trade wars are good, and easy to win.”
