First U.S. Case of Coronavirus Confirmed

Experts at the World Health Organization are meeting today to decide whether to declare a global health emergency, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the first U.S. case of coronavirus — a new virus that emerged in Wuhan, China, last month. The virus has already spread from China to at least four countries, including the United States, and has killed at least nine people in China.
