2026 Oscar-Nominated Films on Democracy Now!

The 2025 Oscar Nominations were released today. Nominees include several films Democracy Now! has covered. Watch our interviews below.

Ryan Coogler’s film Sinners was nominated a record breaking 16 times including for best director and best picture.

Another Oscar nominee includes The Voice of Hind Rajab.

It Was Just an Accident was nominated for best international feature film.

Armed Only with a Camera The Life and Death of Brent Renaud” was nominated for best short documentary.
