Jim Sheridan says he’s stepping down amid concerns British airports have hosted US planes shipping arms to Israel and his government’s refusal to push for a ceasefire. Sheridan’s resignation comes as more than 130 British lawmakers have issued a demand to recall parliament to discuss the war on Lebanon.
