The Nobel-winning author Doris Lessing has died at the age of 94. Lessing wrote more than 55 works of fiction, poetry and operas. Her 1962 book, “The Golden Notebook,” is widely considered to be the first feminist novel. She died three weeks after the passing of her son Peter, whom she cared for through years of illness.
