Meanwhile, The Daily Beast is reporting that State Department officials are considering extending temporary protected status, or TPS, to Venezuelans residing in the U.S. to protect them from deportation. TPS holders from Sudan, El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Honduras and Nepal are currently suing the Trump administration over its attempt to revoke their immigration status.
