Today the House Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol insurrection holds the second of three hearings originally scheduled this week. Wednesday’s hearing was delayed. This hearing will focus on Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure Mike Pence to block Joe Biden from becoming president. Part of that effort was led by Trump legal advisor John Eastman, who claimed Pence could single-handedly overturn the election.
