Democracy Now! reports on the case of Georgia death row prisoner Troy Davis. Davis was convicted in 1989 of killing of off-duty white police officer, Mark MacPhail. Since then, seven of the nine non-police witnesses who fingered Davis have recanted their testimony, and there is no physical evidence that ties Davis to the crime scene. Davis was executed by the state of George on Sept. 21, 2011.
