Organized Labor has been fiercely attacked by the Republican Party this election year, in part because the AFL–CIO endorsed Bill Clinton and is spending tens of millions of dollars to get him re-elected. This week in San Diego, the AFL–CIO’s presence is mostly felt on the outside of the convention.
