Senate Confirms Denis McDonough to Lead Department of Veterans Affairs

The Senate has confirmed President Biden’s pick to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. Denis McDonough is just the second nonveteran to lead the VA. He previously served as President Barack Obama’s chief of staff and as deputy national security adviser.
